First Federal Issue embossed revenue stamped paper for the Georgia taxing district Scott cat. The document is dated Decemberr 1800 Size 7.5 in. On laid, rag content paper; age toned, tiny holes along folds, signature clipped out - a common practice for cancelling notes at the time, overall very good condition. The 10 cent embossed stamp is located at the upper right, struck on the reverse so it is right reading from the back, is overwritten, is not affected by folds, a very clear strike.
